- Vacancies. From time to time there are vacancies for permanent and fixed term positions in the group. You can check the latest opportunities at our vacancies page.
- Research visitors. We have a vibrant programme of visiting researchers who take on a specific piece of research for a period typically between one and twelve months. Details of the programme are available.
- Visiting speakers. The Centre also invites colleagues to join us for a few days to a few weeks to give one or more talks or contribute to our series of masterclasses. If you are interested in contributing, please send us an email.
Getting to us
From most places overseas, it is easiest to fly in to EDI or GLA and then catch a train up to Dundee. In both cases there is a shuttle bus from the airport to Haymarket train station (from EDI) or Glasgow Queen Street (from GLA). Occasionally flights to ABZ are more convenient and the train travel time is about the same; you should catch a taxi from the airport to Aberdeen train station.
The local airport, DND, is very small but very convenient (it’s 5 minutes by taxi from the University and city centre, and can take just a few minutes to get from airside to plane). It has direct flights only to STN (good for Ryanair flights to Europe; DND-STN twice daily except Saturdays) and AMS (good for everything — DND-AMS once per day). You just have to be lucky with connection timings.
There are also direct trains from London to Dundee which take around 5h45m. Book in advance for reasonably priced first class tickets which include food and wifi.
In Dundee, we are located in the Queen Mother Building in the University, which can be found at arg.tech/qmb.
The lab is on the second floor in 2.15.
